Please join us as for a forum on Invisible Homelessness at 7 p.m. on February 25.

The forum is hosted and moderated by StreetWise and includes two StreetWise Vendors with lived experience, along with Erin Ryan, senior vice president of The Night Ministry and Dr. Molly Brown, DePaul University assistant professor, clinical-community psychology and director of DePaul’s Homelessness Advocacy, Research and Collaboration Lab.

This is the first event exploring this issue since StreetWise co-launched an 8-part podcast series, Where I Stay. The podcast, two years in the making, follows the plight of people who are invisibly homeless through the eyes of one woman, Angelica, who first experienced homelessness at age 12 due to family dynamics. The podcast, hosted by Jesse Betend journeys through the child welfare and criminal justice systems, and the alternative economies that often feel like the only option to survive, and their lasting impact.

Register for a zoom link here, or join us LIVE on our Facebook page.

If you would like to listen to the podcast it is available at www.streetwise.org/whereistay or wherever you listen to podcasts.

We hope you will join us for this interactive event on Thursday.
